D “Sarge” Ogburn, Dean of Education

D “Sarge” Ogburn, is a professional educator. Being drafted straight from high school to serve in World War II is an honor in its own right, but what he has accomplished since then is nothing short of notable acts of valor and bravery. Sarge served for 20 years and established himself as a Master Sergeant to his troops leading them through challenging obstacles and even commandeering a sensitive situation at a critical point in his military career. Yet, all of those moments led him to desire the growth and experience of education through those around him as he sought to learn as much as he could from a multitude of educational institutions.

Education is an ongoing passion for Sarge, and how he chooses to live his every day life. He is a student of life and has amounted unparalleled experience and knowledge throughout his various professional fields that have led him to recognition and prestige among his peers. His faithful mission on education stems from his work ethic and desire to teach and shape as many professionals as possible with his vast trained wisdom.

Sarge has received over ten diplomas in his lifetime and has accumulated various certificates from business to horticulturist from the University of Florida. He has remained in the educating field from his veteran days up until his retirement and is looking forward to serving as Dean of Education at Ogburn University to assist in molding the professional lives of zealous entrepreneurs in search of a proven business system.

His responsibilities includes serving as a mentor and guide to the Ogburn University program and its members to further empower the achievement of each incoming student for maximum success in the real world.

Sarge currently resides in Ocala, Florida and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
